There are many pages on the web highlighting Daniel Boone's descendants.  On this page I would like to highlight what very few have shown . . . the lost link to my family.   This has been an ever evolving 7 year search that started with just some old stories of family members long gone.   Since both my ggg grandparents, Susan (Susannah) Boone and Joseph Van Bibber, died at an early age, their children, Sarah, Letitia, and Joseph Van Bibber were raised by Nathan and Olive Boone.  Beyond that I'm not sure about their lives . . . how they lived and how they died. 12. Elizabeth Hays. Born on 12 Jun 1776 in Ft. Boonesborough, Madison Co., Kentucky. Elizabeth died in Missouri on 3 Aug 1828; she was 52.

In 1797 when Elizabeth was 20, she married Major Isaac Van Bibber, son of Captain Isaac Van Bibber & Sarah Davis, in Kentucky. Born on 20 Oct 1771 in Greenbrier Co., (W) Virginia. Isaac died in Williamsburg, Callaway Co., Missouri on 30 Sep 1840; he was 68.

Jemima married James Davis. Born abt 1775 in Pennsylvania.

14. William Hays Jr. Born in 1780. William died in Williamsburg, Callaway Co., Missouri in 1845; he was 65.

William married Phebe Stevens, in Callaway Co., Missouri. Born abt 1791 in Kentucky. Phebe died in Callaway Co., Missouri.

15. Susannah A. Hays. Born in 1782 in Kentucky.

On 25 Aug 1801 when Susannah A. was 19, she first married Joshua Dodson, in St. Charles Co., Missouri.

16. Boone Hays. Born in 1783 in Kentucky. Boone died in enroute to California in 1850; he was 67. Buried in buried on slope of the Great Divide.

Boone first married Mrs. Frazier. Born in Memphis, Tennessee.

On 3 Jun 1807 when Boone was 24, he second married Lydia Ann Scholl, daughter of Peter Scholl & Mary Boone, in Clark Co., Kentucky. Born in 1789.

On 28 Apr 1813 when Daniel Boone was 23, he married Mary (Polly) Bryan, daughter of David Bryan & Mary Power, in St. Charles Co., Missouri. Born on 6 Dec 1789 in Bryan’s Station, Kentucky. Mary (Polly) died in Femme Osage, St. Charles Co., Missouri on 26 Mar 1867; she was 77.

On 21 Mar 1815 Delinda married Lewis (Louis) Jones, in St. Charles Co., Missouri.

abt 1800 when Sarah was 20, she married James Barnes Jr., son of James Barnes , Sr..

23. John Boone Callaway. Born abt 1781 in Kentucky. John Boone died in St. Charles Co., Missouri bef Aug 1823; he was 42.

On 22 Feb 1809 when John Boone was 28, he married Elizabeth Canton, in St. Charles Co., Missouri.

24. James Richard Callaway , Captain. Born on 13 Sep 1783 in Fayette Co., Kentucky. James Richard died in on Loutre Creek, Montgomery Co., Missouri on 7 May 1815; he was 31.

On 9 May 1805 when James Richard was 21, he married Nancy Howell, in St. Charles Co., Missouri.

25. Frances Callaway. Born abt 1788 in Kentucky. Frances died in St. Joseph, Missouri abt 1865; she was 77.

On 9 Aug 1803 when Frances was 15, she married William T. Lamme. Born on 28 Apr 1777 in Virginia. William T. died in Warren Co., Missouri on 1 Oct 1840; he was 63.

26. Susannah Callaway. Born on 4 Jan 1791 in Boone's Station, Fayette Co., Kentucky. Susannah died in Howell's Prairie, St. Charles Co., Missouri on 25 Dec 1876; she was 85.

On 10 Jul 1806 when Susannah was 15, she married Thomas Howell, son of Francis Howell , Sr. & Susannah Stone, in St. Charles Co., Missouri. Born on 14 Mar 1783 in Caswell Co., North Carolina. Thomas died in Howell's Prairie, St. Charles Co., Missouri on 12 Sep 1869; he was 86.

27. Tabitha Callaway. Born on 1 Dec 1792 in Fayette Co., Kentucky. Tabitha died in St. Charles Co., Missouri abt 1818; she was 25.

abt 1810 when Tabitha was 17, she married Abraham Darst, son of David Darst & Rosetta Holman, in St. Charles Co., Missouri. Born on 14 May 1786 in Woodford Co., Kentucky. Abraham died in Fort Bend Co., Texas on 25 Dec 1833; he was 47.

28. Larkin S. Callaway. Born on 17 Mar 1794 in Kentucky. Larkin S. died on 28 Jan 1839; he was 44.

On 21 Dec 1815 when Larkin S. was 21, he married Susannah L. Howell, daughter of Francis Howell , Sr. & Susannah Stone, in St. Charles Co., Missouri. Born on 22 Apr 1798 in Bon Homme Bottom, St. Louis Co., Missouri. Susannah L. died on 23 Feb 1831; she was 32.

29. Elizabeth Callaway. Born on 15 Feb 1797 in Kentucky. Elizabeth died in Boone Co., Missouri on 1 Jun 1867; she was 70.

On 16 Feb 1815 when Elizabeth was 18, she married Morgan Bryan, son of David Bryan & Mary Power, in St. Charles Co., Missouri. Born on 20 Aug 1794 in Kentucky. Morgan died in Missouri on 7 Aug 1857; he was 62.

30. Minerva Callaway. Born in 1801 in St. Charles Co., Missouri. Minerva died in Marthasville, Warren Co., Missouri on 21 Nov 1850; she was 49.

On 22 Oct 1818 when Minerva was 17, she married Dr. John Jones, in St. Charles Co., Missouri. Born in Kentucky. John died on 22 Jan 1842 in St. Charles Co., Missouri.

31. Daniel Boone Callaway. Born abt 1803 in Warren Co., Missouri. Daniel Boone died in 1848; he was 45.

abt 1830 when Daniel Boone was 27, he married Anna Griswold, daughter of Harvey Griswold & Cynthia Hayes, in Missouri.

32. Joseph Scholl Jr. Born on 15 Jun 1800 in Clark Co., Kentucky. Joseph died in Callaway Co., Missouri on 10 May 1884; he was 83.

On 24 Feb 1831 when Joseph was 30, he first married Eliza Ann Broughton, in Callaway Co., Missouri. Born on 12 Oct 1812 in Bourbon Co., Kentucky. Eliza Ann died on 1 Apr 1886; she was 73.

On 18 Aug 1840 when James was 40, he married Polly Allen, in Polk Co., Missouri. Born abt 1804 in St. Charles Co., Missouri.

68. Delinda Boone. Born on 3 Feb 1802 in St. Charles Co., Missouri. Delinda died in Hanover, Jo Daviess co., Illinois on 18 Sep 1877; she was 75. Buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Hanover, Jo Daviss Co., Illinois.

On 29 Apr 1819 when Delinda was 17, she married Rev. James Craig, in Femme Osage, St. Charles Co., Missouri. Born on 21 Nov 1785 in Loudoun Co., Virginia. James died in Hanover, Jo Daviess co., Illinois on 31 Mar 1847; he was 61.

On 26 Apr 1848 when Melcina was 28, she second married Franklin Tennessee Frazier, son of Julian Frazier & Mrs. Elizabeth [Frazier], in Greene Co., Missouri. Born on 15 Mar 1810. Franklin Tennessee died in Ash Grove, Greene Co., Missouri on 16 Dec 1881; he was 71.

On 23 Apr 1841 when Mary O. was 19, she married Alfred Hosman, son of Esaias Hosman & Sarah Payne, in Greene Co., Missouri. Born on 2 Aug 1810 in Loudoun Co., Virginia. Alfred died in Ash Grove, Greene Co., Missouri on 28 Mar 1890; he was 79.
