William Smith BRYAN was exiled to Virginia by Cromwell ca. 1650/60 for taking sides with Ireland during the Puritan Revolution. He was accompanied by a shipload of chattles and eleven sons and three daughters, and their children, who, with him, became the immigrant ancestors of the BRYANS of America.
William Smith BRYAN was born in 1600 in Claire, Ireland. He died about 1667 in Gloucester, Virginia. "Prince William of Ireland" Deported in 1650 to Gloucester Beach, Virginia as a "rebellious subject"
