Notes for Eboline “Ebidee” (Spouse 1)
Ebolene [spelling in Capt. Snyder’s book] was never found in any Census living in John and Lucinda’s home … nevertheless she is listed in Carrie Harman Roy’s book as their daughter and her burial site is Captain Snyder’s Cemetery in Harman. I also found this same Ebolene Snyder in the West Virginia marriage index [Ancestry.com], when she married Isaac Vandevender, had her parents listed as “Snyder White” [father] and Ann White [mother]. Also, in a family tree in Ancestry, her birth is stated as being “April, 1843” -- that would have be just a month before Mary Jane’s birth of May 1843. Interesting. [ccs, July, 2013]
Possible mother, Cynthia Ann White, married to Richard Johnson in 1846.
