Mrs. Grace Cooper

Mrs. Grace (Shears) Cooper, 69 a former resident of Harman and resident of Club Aero Trailer Park where she has resided with her daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Waybright, for the past three years died at 8:30 am Wednesday, Sept 18, in the Memorial General Hospital.

Mrs Cooper had been in failing health for the past two years, and her condition had remained critical since entering the hospital two weeks ago.

Mrs. Cooper was born Aug. 29, 1905 in Harman, a daughter of the late Frank and Lena (Fansler) Shears.

She graduated from Harman High School and on Feb 13, 1926 was married to Samson S. Cooper who survives in Harman.

She was a member of the Harman Church of the Brethren and the Randolph County Senior Center.

Surviving in addition to her husband are four daughters, Mrs Arlene Brown of Zanesville, OH. Mrs Snowden (Peggy) Vance of Harman, Mrs Tommy (Colette) Bennett of Harman, Mrs Bonnie Waybright of Elkins, rt 1; one son Timothy S. "Tim" Cooper of Davis; 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Two sons and one daughter preceded her in death.

Final rites were conducted from the Church of the Brethren at Harman with the
