Notes for Philip Lee Anthony
“I have much information on Philip Lee Anthony, the husband of Olive Boone and am looking for a way to complete this link. Olive Boone and Philip Anthony had two sons born in St. Charles County, MO before they moved to Arkansas to be near Philip's father, James Crenshaw Anthony. Olive died in childbirth in 1836 and was presumed to be buried on the Anthony family plantation near Little Rock. I would like to share my information and also find the official documentation for the birth of their sons, Benjamin Lee Anthony and William Davis Anthony. I can be contacted at sawilson71@yahoo.com”

I am seeking information on W. D. (William Davis) ANTHONY who was surveyor in Prairie Co. from 1866-1868. He received a confederate pension. He was a son of Phillip Lee ANTHONY of Little Rock. Phillip Lee ANTHONY worked with his father James Crenshaw ANTHONY who had built the Anthony House (hotel) in Little Rock...reportedly the first brick hotel west of the Mississippi.
