Hattie, Wilber, and Myrtle all lived together at the “old place” on the hill above Harman in the 1930’s according to Milton Lee Snyder, my dad. [Craig Cooper Snyder, July, 2003]

"Myrtle Cooper a retired schoolteacher and manager of a family farm. She taught school for 23 years before retiring to spend the rest of her life managing the family farm. She was member of the Harman Church of the Brethren". Source- Obituary.
**NOTE- Aunt Myrtle was the last surviving member of the 10 children in her family.
I have heard a story that my g grandfather [John W. Snyder], who had been married to Myrtle’s sister Mary until her death in 1925, came back home from Idaho to court Myrtle. According to the story, Myrtle chose not to marry John and was never married. Not many details beyond that. [Craig Cooper Snyder, Aug., 2003]
