JORDAN RITES TUESDAY

Weippe, March 12.   Funeral servcies for Mrs. Fleet Jordan, who died Saturday at her home at Lewiston, will be held at the Pilgrim Holiness church at 2 p.m. Tuesday.   The Rev. O. E. Wells will officiate.   Burial will be at the Weippe cemetery with the Gilbert funeral home, Orofino, in charge.

MARY JORDAN DIES OF ILLNESS

Final rites for Mrs. Mary Marcella Jordan, 70, resident of Weippe fo rmany years, were conducted at the Pilgrim Holiness Church at Weippe at 2 p.m. Tuesday.   The Rev. O.A. Wells officiated and Gilbert's funeral chapel had charge.   Burial was in the Weippe Cemetery.

Mrs. Jordan died at 1:15 a.m. Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mamie Stevenson, Lewiston.   She had been ill for two years.

She was born at One-Go, W. VA on August 27, 1879 and was married to Fleet Jordan at Parsons, W.V. August 27, 1900.   The Jordans moved to Weippe in June 1914 and resided there until 1945 when they moved to Lewiston.

FLEET JORDAN, 90, SUCCUMBS OF INFIRMITIES
Fleet Jordan, 90, a resident of Idaho since 1939, died at the Orchards Nursing Home at 7:10 p.m. last night of the infirmities of age.   He had been ill since June.
He was born Jan. 14, 1875, at Circlevill, W. Va.   He moved in 1911 to Gildford, Mont., then to Lewiston in 1939, when he retired.   He resided at 1511 10th Avenue.  
He worked in farming, was a restaurant and general store owner and did road construction before he retired.   Jordan married mary Waybright at Whitmer, W. Va., August 27, 1900.   She died March 11, 1950.
Surviving are a son, Glenn W. Jordan, Lewiston; a daughter, Mrs. Joe (Mamie) Lundy, Lewiston; a borther Zan Jordan, Orofino; a sister, Mrs. Jessie Snyder, Seattle; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Brower-Wann Chapel with the Rev. E. Paul Hovey, pastor of the Congregational-Presbyterian (Federated Church, officiating.   Burial will be at Normal Hill Cemetery.

Description: I got this photo from a cousin I saw while I was in Idaho.   It is one of those BIG old photos.   I scanned it in two pieces and reassembled the two halves when I got home.
