555 Christian Rohrbach was born about 1720 in the village of Wahlscheid, Abt. 18 miles NW of Zweibrucken in the Palatinate of Germany and died between Nov 24, 1786 (will dated) and Dec 9, 1789. (will proved) in Codorus Township, York Co., Pa. His father Hans(5)Rohrbach had emigrated from the village of Rueggisberg, Canton Bern, Switzerland to the Palatinate about 1700-1720.
Christian and his first wife Maria Catherina Kuntz set out from Mimbach Germany to emmigrate to Pennsylvania, just a few months after their marriage. She died after July 31, 1749, probably about 1753 in East Vincent Township, Chester Co. Pa.
Christian married a second time to Susana Hause between 1752 and 1764, probably 1756, in Chester Co. Pa.
