T. Page Carper: (obit from an undated, unnamed newspaper):
T. Page Carper, 781 Broadway, for thirty years in the employ of the Dom'nion Express company, died yesterday at the General hospital. He was 73 years old, a native of Virginia and had been resident in Winnipeg for more than forty years, and during the whole of that period he had been a member of Grace church. Mr. Carper had also been connected with the I. O. O. F. and was one of the oldest members of North Star lodge of this city. He is survived by a widow and son, Howard, now in Europe on active service as lieutenant in the Canadian Engineer Mechanical Transport department. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Service will be held at Thomson's and interment will be at Elmwood cemetery.
(Notes: Sometimes his given names were reversed, as Page Thomas. I noted there was a physician in Berkeley Co. by the name of Dr. Thomas Page.
