Frederick [Kerper] Carper was a private 7th class, of Company of the Ninth Battalion of Lancaster, Co. Militia, then was promoted to Lieutenant, 4th co., 3rd Battalion of the Lancaster Militia. He is listed in the Revolutionary Wars of Soldiers buried in Lebanon Co., Pennsylvania. He is buried at the Salem Church cemetery in Campbellstown, Pennsylvania. A marker signifying his military service is placed at his gravesite. Frederick is a proven DAR patriot of the Revolutionary War. Frederick is buried beside his wife at the Salem Church cemetery. The land that the church is on was given to the church by the Wolfsbergers. It was a Lutheran Church.
