Circleville News

Jacob W. Nelson died Saturday evening, November 25, 1916.   He had been sick only a few days.   He died while they were phoning to the doctor.   He leaves to mourn his loss three sons, Walter, Howard and Pink, and two daughters, Miss. Lottie and Mrs. Ott Kline, two brothers, Rev. E.S. Nelson and Joseph W. Nelson, and three sisters, Mrs. Caleb Sheetz of Virginia, Mrs. Seymour McDonald, and Mrs. Martin Vandevander, of Circleville, and a host of grandchildren.   He was laid to rest in the home cemetery, Monday, November 27, 1916, at 11 am.

P.M. Propst was here again last week roofing Robert Bennett’s house.   After he finishes the job he will likely roof a schoolhouse for John W. Warner, which is being built in Warner Hills.

There is considerable grippe and colds in this neighborhood, the writer himself having been housed up for several days.
