Daniel Boone CALLAWAY [Grandson of Daniel Boone, pioneer of Kentucky and Missouri] was born circa 1803 in Saint Charles County, Missouri. He married Anne GRISWOLD, daughter of Harvey GRISWOLD Sr. and Cynthia Hayes, circa 1830 in Montgomery County, Missouri. He died in Jan 1848 in Missouri. He was born in either Warren County or Franklin County, Missouri. They had two sons and one daughter, all of whom lived in Franklin County, Missouri. One son never married and died in the Civil War. The other son also served in the war and had a daughter.
