436Larkin S. CALLAWAY was born on 17 Mar 1794 in Fayette County, Kentucky. He married Susannah L. HOWELL, daughter of Francis HOWELL and Susannah Stone, on 22 Dec 1815 in Saint Charles County, Missouri. He died on 12 Feb 1839 in Warren County, Missouri, at age 44. He grew up in the St. Charles District of Missouri and served under brother James as a sergeant in the original company of Missouri Rangers. Susannah and he had five daughters (one of whom died young) and three sons, and she was left with five minor children when he died.
