Notes for Mary Frances Cooper
831. . . Here it gets a little fuzzy as there are no marriages listed for Christian's daughter Mary Frances and her daughter Mollie Frances. Mollie Frances Cooper, eventually produced Earl Cooper, my paternal grandfather (his mother is listed as Mollie Frances Harper on his SSDI application, which sent me in that direction for a while). . . .
Notes for ? (Spouse 1)
this is a guess based on the following:

To all those present greetings....

I am currently researching a Valentine Cooper b. about 1750 and d. 24 APR 1835. I have posted messages at Ancestry and Genealogy.

>From other sources (my research does not have very much documentation with regards to deeds, birth record, etc), he may have been married to a Mary (Elizabeth) Bible. There are some thoughts that the only thing known about her was her first name being Mary (probably due to the listing of her in his willl as "my wife XXXXXX").

There are possible 9 children, of which Jonas is listed as b. 1794, d. 1848). Jonas is supposed to have married a Mary Frances Rohrbaugh, subsequently producing a Christian, b. 1829, d. 1902, who married a Christina Carr.

Here it gets a little fuzzy as there are no marriages listed for Christian's daughter Mary Frances and her daughter Mollie Frances. Mollie Frances Cooper, eventually produced Earl Cooper, my paternal grandfather (his mother is listed as Mollie Frances Harper on his SSDI application, which snet me in that direction for a while).

I would appreciate any vetting of this information. All of this is put together from e-mails I have received (maybe even from some members of this mailing list) and other 'findings' on the internet (some user websites and the like). I have NO documentation to support any of this. Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Tim Cooper

Oops, forgot to mention that 'my' Coopers are from VA/WV. Near what is now Harman and Job WV. Even a 'mountain' named Cooper's Mountain.

The counties have changed borders several times that it is hard to keep track.

Thanks for any responses.

Sincerely,

Tim Cooper
