Car Overturns, Driver Killed
OROFINO, Idaho (AP) – Irad Carr was killed on his 61st birthday near hear early Thursday when his automobile left the road, overturned and smashed up against a tree at the edge of a deep canyon.
Carr was returning from town to his home on Fords Creek Road east of here.
His new sedan went off the gravel road and landed upside down. Doors jammed shut and he was found dead of a broken neck by a passing motorist at 8:40 a.m. ….

… The 36th death was added to the list ealier in the day when Irad Carr, 61 of Orofino, was killed in a one-car accident seven miles east of Orofino, Clearwater County Depurty Sheriff Jim Sewell said Carr apparently fell asleep at the wheel and his automobile veered off a county road. Carr was thrown from the vehicle and died of a broken neck. ….
