From his Obituary in The Evening Sun, Saturday, September 12, 1981:
"WESTMINSTER- Willard Gray Rush, 82, of 1638 Strand Avenue, Westminster, died Friday afternoon at Carroll County General Hospital following a brief illness. He was a member of the Westminster United Methodist Church, the Liberty Masonic Lodge 219 in Baltimore, the VFW Molleville Farm Post 46, and the Carroll Post American Legion 31. He served in the Army during World War I and was employed for 45 years as an auditor at Read's Drug and Chemical Company in Baltimore". "The funeral will be held on Monday at 1 P.M. at the Westminster United Methodist Church at 165 East Main Street, Westminster".
