I would like to say that the parents of George Thompson, Sr. which are listed as Walter and Mary Thompson has not been confirmed.
Please do not take this as gospel. During this same period there are at least two George Thompsons who migrated to Virginia from Ireland/England via English ships.
I haven't been able to trace these Thompson as I would like too.
I am sorry if this entry of Walter and Mary Thompson has caused anyone difficulty and I beg your forgiveness.
I promise to check my sources better in the future.
