Last Friday I received a telephone call from Floyd Zumwalt, he lives in Albany, OR. Floyd has a subscription to the Clearwater Tribune and read the article on Kermit Perkins 95th birthday in the Nov. 27 issue. Floyd is related to the Snyder family and was interested in acquiring about the book “Captain Snyder and his Twelve of West Virginia.” We had an interesting conversation and I hope to receive more information from Floyd about his family.
