497Carr.--Mahaley, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Amby White, was born at Wymer, W. Va., March 1, 1864; died at the home of her daughter, near Wymer, Sept. 28, 1947; aged 83 y. 6 m. 27 d. She was united in marriage to James Carr, who preceded her in death. Surviving are 4 sons (Noil and Burley, Wymer, W. Va.; George, Morgantown, W.Va.; and Okey, Pittsburgh, Pa.), 2 daughters (Susan--Mrs. Albert Summerfield, Wymer, W.Va.; and Elizabeth--Mrs. Miles Lambert, Cumberland, Md.), 4 half brothers, 3 half sisters, 42 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Mennonite Church for a number of years. Funeral services were conducted by Hiram Weaver, Sept. 30, at the White Cemetery, where interment was made.

497Carr.-James B. Carr was born near Harman, W. Va., Sept. 15, 1853; died Oct. 13, 1936; aged 83 y. 28 d. About 57 years ago he was married to Mahala White. To this union were born 10 children. He leaves his wife, 4 sons, 2 daughters, 1 brother, 3 sisters, a number of grandchildren, and some great-grandchildren. He was. preceded in death by 1 brother, 2 sisters, and 4 children. He was a member of the Mennonite Church years ago, then was out for some time, but in the last year he was reclaimed but was unable to attend Church services on account of ill health. Funeral services were conducted by Hiram Weaver at the Amby White Cemetery, where the body was laid to rest.
