Notes for Isaac (Spouse 1)
Bruce:
I'm pleased at your Chat page and want to offer a few suggestions
for Isaac Vanbibber who married Hannah Long. They are my ancestors
also. In my notes, I have born and married the same as you do. However

he died 9 Sep 1886 at Clear Fork, Bell, KY.

He married a 2nd time to Lucinda Eads on 26 Oct 1866 in Harlan Co., KY.
This is found in Harlan County Marriage Book A, Page #100. Henry moved
to Harlan county in the mid 1840's.

He served as a Private in Capt. William Hamilton's Regiment of East TN
Volunteers in the War with the Creek Indians. He sold a Bounty Land
warrant #44857 for 40 acres to Wm. Rogers on 4 July 1852 in Claiborne
co. TN.

I don't have much on Hannah except that she was born ca 1795 in NC.
She died ca 1866 in KY. There is conjecture that her parents may have
been Henry Long and Mary. This bothers me and I have worked on it
for years. Her attorney was even kind enough to tell me that the lady
who gave me the Long material, died but left all her material at the
Springfield, IL Archives. We went there and I poured through
everything I could with no results.

Sorry, it's dinner time but I'll tel you what I have on the children
next time.

Cordially,
Barbara Drew <LBDrew@majornet.com>
