Notes for Ann Crane
1027William Wood was my forth great Grandfather. A source in A.C says he married a Martha Cate, but I have him married to Ann Crane. His son, William Wood, Jr. was married first to a Martha Glenn, then Elizabeth Burke. A copy of the will shows him leaving his estate to Elizabeth and their children. If I could find out the death of Martha Glenn, which no one knows, I could move on. Some people list the children with Martha Glenn in A.C but LDS does not support this claim. Interesting, Huh?
Thanks for the data on Hannah Wood; I'll add them to my tree. I am sure there is a name for people such as myself who list everyone possible from every branch and in-laws, probably an occasional ant that climed up a limb. I believe that I will be related to everyone in the world by the time I complete the work . . . John - probable cousin.
Notes for William (Spouse 1)
421Documents suggest she was the daughter of John Wood and Margaret Clayton, that she and her brother, Reuben, were orphaned and their older brother, William (my 5th great Grandfather) was appointed guardian about March 1761. Your entry in Ancestry.Com adds to my list of her family....Thanks for the infor.
