42. Roger de Holford, son and heir of William Toft and Joan Lostock, living 1316. He assumed the surname of Holford from the place of his residence, as was the manner of those ages, which surname his posterity ever since retained, 1666. He married Margery, daughter of Richard le Dispenser, but died without issue in 1330.
