I was just checking out your information on Ancestry. Com and thought I’d send you some information to add to your records. Daniel Boone Scholl (son of Septimus Scholl & Sarah “Sally” Miller) was born 3 Mar 1843 in Clark Co., Kentucky. He died 17 June 1863 near Westport, Missouri. He was a member of the Confederate Army and rode with Quantrill’s raiders. He was shot in the back and the bullet came out near his belt buckle. He road about 4 hours before he finally died. His brother George and his brother-in-law John Ross also road with Quantirll’s raiders – along with Jesse and Frank James and the Younger Brothers. The Youngers were close neighbors of the Scholl family.
