1130He served in the Revolutionary War as a private in the Kentucky (then part of Virginia) militia under Captain Samuel Kirkham and Brigadier General George Rogers Clark, Oct 22 1782-Nov 23 1782.

Married Hannah Ann Hite on 15 Dec 1781 at the German Lutheran Church, Frederick Co., MD.

They had the following children, Leah Boone, Hannah Ann, George Washington and Ruth.

He is buried along Bull Skin Creek and Brashears Creek near Todd's Point just north of Shelbyville, KY. There is no marker.

The information contained in this memorial comes from a book in my possession published in 2010 titled "The Descendants of Josiah Noah Boone I & II" and it's accompanying documentation.

After publication of the book additional official documentation has been found to further strengthen it's conclusions.
