Long, James A., son of Samuel and Margaret (Pennington) Long, was born at Dry Fork, W. Va., July 5, 1865; died March 27, 1961; aged 95 y. 8 m. 22 d. Surviving are 2 sisters and one brother (Catherine White, Almish Wilfing, and Strite, all of Dry Fork, W. Va.), 2 half sisters, and one half brother. Four days before his death he confessed Christ as his Saviour and was baptized and received into the Mennonite Church. Funeral services were held at the Riverside Mennonite Church, in charge of M. J. Brunk and W. A. Kratz.

A funeral service for James A. Long, of Dry Fork, W. Va., was held March 29 at the Riverside Mennonite Church, of which he was a member. Officiating was Menno Brunk assisted by Warren Kratz.
Mr. Long was born July 5, 1865 at Dry Fork, the son of Samuel and Margaret Pennington Long.
Surviving these sisters and brothers; Catherine White, Almish Wilfong and Strite Long, Dry Fork; Alpho
Hedrick, Harman; Donna Pennington, Marysville; and John Long of Idaho.
