WEST - Miss Edith died at the home of her parents, Mr and Mrs P. S. West, 270 North Cherry of Tuberculosis. Born near Maquon, on March 21, 1892 (date in error!) where she has always made her home except on the last few years. Her early education was received at Maquon schools, then in Galesburg High School. She entered Knox College and had but a year to finish when sickness struck. At Maquon she attended the Methodist Church and in Galesburg, the First Methodist E. Church. She leaves parents, five sisters, mrs Alberta Prall, Mary, Winifred, Violet, Phillis West, all of this city. The funeral service will be held at the Methodist Church of Maquon monday with a brief service in Galesburg.
