Robert S. Hosman
Robert S. Hosman, 86, of Ash Grove, passed away Sunday morning at 5:30 a.m. in the Ash Grove Health Care Center. He was born in Ash Grove and was a lifelong area resident. He owned and operated Hosman Insurance Agency in Ash Grove for 35 years, retiring in September of 1985. He was an active member of the Ash Grove First Christian Church. He is survived by 2 sons, Joseph Robert Hosman, of Tulsa, Okla., and William E., and wife, Katheryn Hosman, of Ash Grove, Mo.; three grandchildren, Jason, and wife, Julie Hosman, Kara, and husband, Byron Snider, and Kristin, and husband, Mike Roberts; as well as four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Lee, and husband, Ed Irons, of Washington, D.C. Services will be Wednesday, February 14, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. in Wilson Brim Daniel Chapel, Ash Grove, with Rev. Tom Geer officiating. Interment is to follow in Ash Grove Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today in the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given in his memory to the Ash Grove First Christian Church.
