Hi there--we are indeed cousins! Your great grandmother was my great aunt Rosa, someone I remember vaguely from my childhood. Her brother was my grandfather John Keelin Anthony, and when we were growing up in Ft. Smith and LR, we used to go down to Humphrey to vist Grandfather Anthony and Grandmother Kitty, who was his second wife. I now live in MA, but am in close touch with Mary Anthony Griffe of NLR who is writing a whole book on the Anthony descendents of James Crenshaw Anthony, who was the originator of the old Anthony House Hotel in LR back in the 1840's. It's a fascinating line, and the one I find most interesting is James Crenshaw's son, Philip Lee Anthony, who was the one who married Olive Booone. You and I descend from their second son, William Davis Anthony who was a Civil War veteran and planter from Lonoke. There were 3 children of William Davis'. My grandfather, JK Anthony, Aunt Rosa, and another sister named Linnie Anthony. Where did Aunt Rosa live? Somewhere near Pine Bluff I assume. And is that where you live? Let's continue to be in touch. I can tell you gobs about the Anthony side and still own the old family bible from William Davis Anthony and his wife Mary Eliz Keelin Crist of Salem, NC, but I too need to document the marriage of Olive Boone and Philip Lee Anthony. Let'
s stay in touch.
