Theodosia is my great-great grandmother. She married Frederick L. Smith December 25, 1889 in Belmont Nebraska by Rev. A.J. Wright. She died November 26, 1932 in Los Angeles, California. I do not have a birth date for Frederick -- I believe he was born in Canada. This is listed as his birthplace in the 1920 census and my grandfather told me that he was from Canada, although that at various times Frederick would claim to be from a town in Michigan where the town hall had burned down and all records were
destroyed. I am sure there is an interesting story here. Anyway, this does explain that in some of the 1930 census information various of Theodosia and Frederick's children list their Father's birthplace as Michigan. Frederick died August 19, 1942 in Los Angeles, California.
