Anyone looked prior to John Snyder and 1790 ?
Have a request into B&N for the Captain Sampson book
Sent a request for more info to my Dad (Leo), and several remaining family
I am not aware (and doubt) Grace was married to anyone prior to Ralph but am not sure of the date of their marriage. Nor aware of an Arthur (Teed) in the family.
I don’t have any (family) sources as to Grace’s parents, although the (Henry Snyder and Mary Elizabeth Bonner ) timeframe seems to fit but sure my Dad and/or others will be able to provide the info there.
The source regarding Ralph/Grace children was correct less Sam Teed, my Dad’s oldest brother was missing from the list. He passed away in the early 60’s in Weippe
Seymour, was my Dads brother, killed in WWII, Loretta passed in the 70’s (Bremerton) and Blanche, (Seattle) about two years ago, so my Dad is the last of the list, currently living in Orfino.
The web site http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Oaks/1536/john.html ) reference to GRACIE D SNYDER, born April 1900, Tucker, W. Virginia. Is the closest to what I know of my grandmother Grace. She passed in 1990.
We are currently living in the Signing Hills area about 30 miles east of San Diego and look forward to more correspondence with you
Of note, I was born in Seattle in Sep 1957 and adopted the same year by Leo and Lois (Donner, yes, a descendant of the “party”) Teed and raised there until I joined the Navy in 1976 and retired from the same in 1997.
I intend to continue my research into the Teed/Snyder family and very much appreciate your input and will reciprocate as I can.
