(((Bold letters))) "John Lambert, Jr. of Pendleton County, (W) Va."
"On September 12, 1795, John Lambert,Jr., was issued a warrant for two hundred acres of Dry Run, Pendleton County. Previous to this time, March 28, 1795, he had taken up one hundred and ten acres on the south side of Judy's Creek, on the northern side of Moser Hill, including a bear wallow. This land lay on the waters of the North Fork."
"John continued to reside in Pendleton County, married there and reared his family on the old homestead. During his young manhood he went to Kentucky, riding horseback, and holding his rifle across the saddlehorn, his wife riding behind. After returning to Pendleton County he built a house on Dry Run where they resided the remainder of their lives."

"The families of Adonijah, John, Jacob, Solomon, and Samuel are not traced in this work. It is altogether probable, however, that their lineage may be found in the county records of the counties in which they established their homes. The family of Albinus and his wife, whose maiden name was Calhoun is recorded as follows:
Elizabeth A married Stewart Raines, Mahala P. married Jacob Arbogast, Philbert died in childhood, Cadden married Cluettta Lambert, Statten moved to Pocahontas County, Albinus died in childhood, Mary H. married Edward White, Lecretia married Robert Smith, and Ira married Zella Painter."
