Ruby Marie Pizzoferrato, of Cincinnati, Ohio, died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2003, at University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She was born Sept. 29, 1920, in Norton, the daughter of the late Thaddous and Alice Jordan.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Dale Jordan, and a sister, Opal Knepp, along with three half brothers, Earl, Richard and Donald Jordan.
Ruby is survived by her lifelong companion and husband of 51 years, Tony; one son, Nicholas Ferrato and wife, Mary Lou; and one granddaughter, Angela Rose Ferrato, all of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Ruby is also survived by four sisters, Edith Kerns of Elyria, Ohio, Sue Howell of Amherst, Ohio, Louise Yelton of Charleston, S.C., and Kay Phillips of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; one half sister, Ruth Ann Evans of Elkins; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Ruby was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed greatly.
The Mass of Christian Burial was offered at 9 a.m. today at St. Columban Catholic Church, 894 Oakland Road, Loveland, Ohio, 45140, where friends were received from 8 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment followed at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Montgomery, Ohio. The family suggests that memorial contributions be directed to the St. Columban Building Fund. www.tuftsschildmeyer.com
