202Richard Botkin was born in 1710. He married Elizabeth -------.
Elizabeth was born in 1712.
In 1743, Richard Botkin was patented 339 acres on Clover Creek,
now commonly called Bullpasture, a branch of Cowpasture River. He was
added to the List of Tithables of Augusta County, VA September 1,
1750.
Inhabitants of Bullpasture and heads of Cowpasture petitioned for
a road from Walles Asterns mill to road on head of Cowpasture.

On 5-28-1751, a road was ordered to be cleared And kept in repair
on the Cowpasture by Richard Bodkin & others.
Richard Bodkin on 8-11-1756 muster roll of Capt George Wilson's
