Rosetta White, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo White, of Elkins, became the bride of Emery L. Anderson, Jr. coach of Davis High School and son of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Anderson, of Marlinton, on December 21, in Marlinton.
The ceremony was performed by Rev. Donald C. Taylor, pastor of the Methodist Church in Marlinton.
The bride wore an aqua taffeta dress with black accessories and a corsage of red rosebuds.
Mrs. Walter Dinwiddie, sister of the bridegroom was matron of honor, Walter Dinwiddle, brother in law of the bridegroom, served as best man.
The bride, a granddaughter of Mrs. Lena Wilfong, of Hambleton, is a graduate of Elkins High School and attended Davis and Elkins College. She is employed by the Monogahela Power Company in Elkins.
The bridegroom, is a graduate of Marlinton High School, received his Bachelor of Science degree from Davis and Elkins College and his Master Degree from Marshall College. He is affiliated with the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity and taught in Marlinton High School before coming to Davis. He is acting principal in the school.
