Description: This is a photo of William Wilson, he is the father of Theodore H. White, my grandfather. William and my great grandmother never married. William was from Virginia and was married to a woman who was in a mental hospital. His wife died while in the hospital. I am searching for his family. Last known information on William was that he owned a barbershop in Parkersburg, WV.

Verna C. White (Ross/Wilson?/Hallway) was born about 1886 in WV.

The third wife of Thomas H. White was Sarah C. Helmick ( I will have to look up my info tomorrow to let you know who her parents were) who had been married to Mordicai Roy ( I don't know what happened to him whether he died or they split up). I will check my records on who the parents were of Martha J. Lambert and get back to you on her.
Verna never married William Wilson, her only marriages were to Daniel Ross and Soloman Holloway and both marriages ended in divorce. Verna is buried at Maplewood Cemetary in Elkins. If you notice on Phoebe's gravestone it says she was born in 1886, but that can't be possible because my grandmother was born in 1886 and Phoebe was older than her, so I believe your date of 1884 is correct as it matches my great grandmother Verna's diary entry.
