She was born Nov. 13, 1926, in Parsons, a daughter of the late William and Lula White Burns.
Survivors include a daughter Linda (and John) Himes; and two grandchildren Larry Carr Jr. and Karen Himes.
She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Warren Carr in 1993; a son Larry R. Carr Sr.; a sister Maxine Carr; and a brother Robert Burns.
She worked at the Lyons Nursing Home as an LPN and retired from MMC in 1992. She was a member of Canton Pentecostal Temple.
Services were held at the Schneeberger Funeral Home with the Rev. Troy L. Bannister officiating. Interment followed at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Louisville, Ky. Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of memorial contributions to Canton Pentecostal Temple, 950 McKinley Avenue, N.W., Canton, Ohio 44703.
