1201.  EDWARD1 ELZY1 was born Abt. 1760 in Maryland, and died Abt. December 1821 in Randolph County, Virginia.

Notes for EDWARD ELZY:
1. Edward Elsey and his brother Thomas were born in Maryland about 1760, then they went to Fauquier Co., with their parents.  By 1800 Edward was in Hardy county.  Both were in the Revolutionary war.  Thomas settled in Va. and Thomas settled in Ohio.  (Ref. " baelza@penn.com).

2. Edward Elzy, father of Thompson Elza-d. abt 1821  Guardianship of Thompson was awarded to Levi Coberly 24 Dec 1821 (Randolph County Orphan's Records)   Levi Coberly granted 50 acres Wts Cheat River in the year of 1822, Book 3, pg 47

3. An Edward Elsey married Cecily Hines on 133 Sept 1811 by Josiah Hoskinson in Hardy Co.  Could this be a second marriage of Edward.  Edward was said to have married after the Revolutionary War.
