BOROUGHS, Halcy Edna, age 79 of 1310 Easton A, passed away in Seattle Tuesday, April 27, (1976) following a lengthy illness. Born in Athens, Illinois, Mrs. Boroughs had been a resident of this community for the past 60 years, was an active participant in St. James Presbyterian Church as well as numerous community civic clubs and organizations. Mr. and Mrs. Boroughs celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary June 1, 1975. Surviving husband, Homer Sr., 2 sons, Mr. Homer Boroughs Jr. and Mr. Robert H. Boroughs both of Seattle, 1 daughter, Mrs. Rebecca Ann Scribner of Seattle, 1 brother, Mr. Arthur Hughes of Athens, Illinois, 6 grandsons. Funeral services Friday, April 30, 11:30 a. m., Jones Funeral Home, with Rev. Wayne Keller and Chaplain Wayne Kildall, Lt. Col., U. S. Army Ret. officiating. Interment Bay View Cemetery
