I was just working on the White family today, including Scott White, aka Grover Scott White. I learned that Scott died in 1947 and is buried at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Scott was a son of George Washington White, who in turn was a son of Henry/Henson White & Sarah Roy. This Sarah Roy was a sister to my 2nd gr-grandfather. I also learned that both of Scott's parents and at least one sister and two brothers died in the 1918 flu epidemic. (Hope I got all that right).

Note: Grover was constable of Whitmer during the lynching of Joe Brown, Joe shot Grover in the face and the people of Whitmer lynched him in front of George Nethkins Saloon. The public took pictures of the lynching. Grover was shot inthe face, but survived the shooting.
