179Two Elk Gardens residents were killed yesterday in a two vehicle crash, along U.S. Route 50 near Hartmansville, about 17 miles west of Keyser.
West Virginia State Police identified the victims as Mrs. Viola D. LaRue, driver of one of the car, and Edgar E. Bonner, 70, a passenger in her car.
Mr. Bonner was a native of Randolph County, a son of the late Emory Lee and Sarah Katherine (Wade) Bonner.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mary Kisner, Baltimore; two brothers, Martine Clare Bonner, Keyser, and Arthur Bonner, Winchester.
The bodies are at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg.
