Hi Craig Snyder, I think I have written to you before--if not OK. The Angeles are losing to Oakland so much for TV and baseball. I was looking for material about the family and I found your web posting. And best of all it was undated: 2009-07-08.

Here is my ancestral line: Susan and Joseph, then dtr. Letitia VB/ Bolen, dtr. Cynthia Ann Bolen Forester, dtr. Bettie Evelyn Forester Elrod, then my dad and then me, Jackie Elrod Stickels.

First I want to say how impressed I am, with your list of Daniel Boone and all of the relatives. You have done a really great job.

But of course, I have a few questions. When Grandma Olive VB Boone came and got James and Sarah in Arkansas after Joseph's death, did anyone keep a diary? Are there any family stories? Also, what happened to Letitia's husband Arthur Bolen. Why did she seems to pick up her kids and head to Grandma Olive's farm in Missouri.?

And lastly, I have a copy of Joseph Van Bibber's Will. It was dated Feb. 1844. It is from Randolph Co. AR. What a thrill to hold something that is 155yrs. old. If you would like a copy of it I can take it to Staples and a copy make for you, but I will have to mail it to you because I don't have a scanner.
