731Dr. George Watt Funeral Thursday At Harman Church
Funeral services for Dr. George Washington Wyatt, 86, prominent physician of the Dry Fork community who died Monday morning at his home, will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Brethren Church at Harman. The Rev. E. S. Harman will be assisted in the service by the Rev. Dan Spade of Eglon.
Interment by the Long Funeral Home will be made in the Wyatt Cemetery at Dry Fork.
Dr. Wyatt was born at Alpena, July 6 1875, and attended the Fairmont State Normal School and taught school for a number of years in Randolph County, He was graduated from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 1907 and located at Dry Fork for the practice of medicine that same year.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Flodie V. Lambert Wyatt, four sons Dr. George W. Wyatt Jr., of Dry Fork; Dr. Howard K. Wyatt of Galveston, Tex.; Milton L. Wyatt of Clarksburg; Edward F. Wyatt of Dry Fork; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Katherine Wyatt Cooper of Dry Fork; one brother E. E. Wyatt of Cortland N. Y., and one sister, Mrs. M. H. Wyatt of Felton, Calif. There are seven grandchildren surviving.
