179Wife Dies After Report of Death
Parson, W. Va., July 19--Mr. and Mrs. William Jackson Bodkin of Parsons both died today, the husband in an automobile accident; and the wife a short time after she was notified of his death.
Bodkin, 69 year old employe of a leather firm here, was killed when his automobile went over an embankment on U. S. 33 eight miles east of Elkins. He was alone in the car.
Mrs. Grace Bodkin, about 60, went into shock when she was notified of his death. Taken to a Parsons hospital, she died 10 minutes after her arrival.
The couple leaves two sons and three daughters, all grown.
