Gerald Carter Bonner, 68, of Hendricks, died Jan. 12, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born April 11, 1936, at Dryfork, a son of the late Laken Ira and Lena Carr Bonner.
Survivors include his wife Phebe Ellen Cole Bonner; a special granddaughter jessica Long; three brothers, Don G. Bonner and Paul Bonner of Parsons, and Coy Bonner of Hendricks; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and special friends Tammy Carr and Christine Long.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles, Forrest, Stanley and Roscoe Bonner; and one sister, Naomi Tennett Sinclair.
He attended schools in Tucker County. He worked for Penn Line, Kingsford Company and the WV DOH. He was Pentecostal by faith.
Friends were received at Hinkle Funeral Home in Davis on Jan. 14 with Rev. Michael WAmsley officiating. Interment followed in Parsons City Cemetery.
