Denver Bonner of Elkins, WV, passed away last night in NC, where he and his wife were visiting their grandson Tim's family.
Denver was born 1927 in Randolph Co., the son of Early Dennis Bonner & Mary Jane Carr Bonner. His brothers and sisters were Lorenzo, Chloe, Harold, Ray, and Maggie.
In 1950 Denver married Donna Carol Wingfield, dau of Oliver (Leroy) Wingfield & Hallie (Beatrice) Hedrick. They have one daughter, Karen, who married Ronnie Jenkins, and 3 grandchildren, Tim, Chris and Jeff Jenkins.
Arrangements are pending and will be made in Elkins, WV.

Donna Carol Wingfield Bonner is sister of my stepdad, Ron Wingfield. When I began researching my mother's Roy family genealogy I realized that Denver was also a cousin to me, through the line of Wiliam Bonner & Jemima Carr. Denver was just the nicest person and he will be missed by many.
