I admire all the time and effort put into your web site.
I have been told I too am a descendant of Daniel, yet have very limited information. My grandfather was Olen Riston McCarty born Sept 19, 1904. His mothers name was "Besse", maiden name Boone. I do not have her birthdate. I only know she died when my grandfather was about 12 years old, so that would be about 1916. What little birth records I could obtain stated she may have lived in Centre County, PA.
My grandparents lived in Lycomng County, PA. Around the Williamsport area.
Would you be able to help me know if my family is related to Daniel Boone?
Please let me know if you need more family history, although my resources are limited.
