Charles Edwin Jones b. November 7, 1871 d. - November 9, 1944

(Charles was a SGT in the Army/Graves Registration WWII - Won the Bronze Star during D-Day-Plus 5 days for saving his LT when his landing craft hit a mine while bringing men and supplies to the beach. Also, involved in the Battle of the Bulge and was busted in rank and almost court martialed for cutting off the fingers of the frozen bodies that were piling up in a farmhouse near Bastogne so he could keep up with the burials and then finger print them lster when the fingers thawed.)
