I've been researching my Cooper line and was wondering if you might
be distantly related. I have Emily Cooper, born Jan. 5, 1853 in
Noble Co., OH, and died
Jan. 28, 1897 in Jackson County, West Virginia. She married William
Carpenter, Mar. 30, 1876 in Noble Co., OH. He was a son of John and
Bridget Reynolds Carpenter.
He was born 1856 in Roane Co., WV. They had at least four children,
according to the birth records in the Jackson County court house,
John, Catharine, James Logan, and a female Carpenter. I did find
some additional information on James Logan Carpenter that I found to
be helpful.

James Carpenter married 1st. to Nora ??? and 2nd to Daisy M. Rogers
(Daisey was a daughter of Luke Rogers) They had at 4 children,
Helen, Joseph, Nellie, and James Carpenter.
