Notes for Robert T. Carr
184Fairview, W. Va.--Robert T Carr, 66, died at this home here Wednesday.
Born January 22, 1911 he was the son of the later Amos Carr and Flossie (Johnston) Carr.
He was a member of Wesleyan United Methodist Church, a veteran of World War II and a retired employe of Monongehela Power Company.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ruth (McCray) Carr, a daughter Mrs. Sally Schwing, Accident, Md., Robert T Carr, Jr., here; two brothers, Billy R. Carr, Louisville, KY, Edward Carr, Morgantown; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Hellyer, Cassville, Mrs. Mary Rancinger, Morgantown, Mrs. Norma Roberts, Louisville, and eight grandchildren.
Friends are being received at the Curry Funeral Home here.
Services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. in Wesley United Methodist Church with Rev. Jack Hart and the Rev. F. G. Flowers officiating. The body will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
