1006Thomas Pennington, 61, of Madison, Ohio, passed away on Friday, May 9.
He was born Jan. 4, 1947 in Parsons, a son of (Reed) and Carroll Pennington. He was married on Aug. 6, 1966, at McKeesport, Penn. to Charlene Orum, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters Elizabeth Scott Grenier of Madison, Ohio and Deborah (and Mike Adamowski) Grenier of Painesville; five grandchildren Thomas, Alexander, Spencer, Meghan and Fabian; four brothers Larry (and Ann) Pennington of Maryland, Carroll Jr. (and Brenda) Pennington and Keith Pennington of Thomas and Barry (and Tammy) Pennington of Suttonville, Pa.; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles; and two special nieces Ashley and Samantha Elder.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carroll and Elsie Pennington; and a sister Linda Young.
He was a graduate of Mountaineer High School. He served in the U.S. Army, was a member of the Painesville American Legion, Fairport VFW Post and Davis Eagles #936. He loved fishing and listening to music. He was employed as a Lab Technician for Lubrizol Corp. retiring after 38 years.
Friends were received on Sunday, May 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 12.
